Release notes for Optimizely CMS and Customized Commerce updates

Important

Release notes are moving to a new location. Starting May 15th, the release notes on the World site will no longer receive updates. See the Release notes by product at its new location.

This topic lists Optimizely updates, delivered as NuGet packages and services. You decide which updates apply to your project.

Select a product, package, or service in the left menu, and then select one of the following filters from Item type and click Filter.

  • Bug – Display bug fixes.
  • Critical bug – Display only critical bug fixes.
  • Feature –  Display only new features (all features).
  • UI Feature – Display only end-user (user interface) features.
  • Security - Display only security updates.

Note: NuGet packages listed here may not be immediately available in the Optimizely NuGet feed.

  Programmatically creating or importing content creates additional rows in tblNotificationSubscription

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a project.
  2. Navigate to the Export UI in CMS admin view.
  3. Select the root page. Select "sub items" and "export files that the pages link to."
  4. Click Export.
  5. Delete any page. 
  6. Check the # of rows in tblNotificationSubscription 
    select count(*) from tblNotificationSubscription
  1. Navigate to import screen.
  2. Select the file from the previous import. Use the "update existing items with matching ID" option.
  3. Begin import.
  4. Check the # of rows in tblNotificationSubscription.

Expected result:
No increase in rows.

Actual result:
Rows increase.

  1. Go to edit view.
  2. View tracker in the browser DevTools.

Actual results:

Events that should not be displayed are displayed.

Solution:

Ajax tracking has been disabled in Platform Navigation.
