Release notes for Episerver updates

This overview lists changes included in Episerver updates delivered as NuGet packages and services. Use the information to decide which updates to apply to your project, see Installing Episerver updates. Select a product, package, or service in the left menu, and filter for dates, features, or bug fixes.

  • See only new features (all features) - filter on item type Feature.
  • See only end-user (user interface) features - filter on item type UI Feature.
  • See only critical bug fixes - filter on item type Critical Bug.

Note: New NuGet packages listed here may not be immediately available in the Episerver NuGet feed.

Steps to reproduce

1. Install Forms.Samples.
2. Set up a site in Azure, for instance, North Europe.
3. Use a Date time picker and set picker type to date picker.
4. Set date to 2020-02-20 and check the Form submission.
5. Set date to 2020-06-20 and check the Form submission.

Expected:
Should set date to the selected date.

Actual:
Dates are set to the date before.

Improve Form Sample elements to fulfill the WCAG 2.0 level AA compliance.

Recapcha control is implementing Google Recapcha v2. We need to verify that screen reader can read error content in the case of a validation failure.

This story is similar to AFORM-2469 but for dynamic content.

  Recaptcha should be refreshed if submission fails

_Install & configure Campaign Connector with Form

Steps to reproduce

1. Create a Form mapping to a recipient:

  • Element 1 maps to Email
  • Element2 maps to a Recipient field
  • Element3= Recaptcha
  • Submit button

2. Add the form to page then publish all.
3. Enter valid data on Recaptcha.
4. Submit a form. System shows warning message 'Errors occurred while processing your information" (input existed email, input blacklist email...)
5. Update form with valid data then submit.

Expected:
reCaptcha should be refreshed if submission fails.

Actual:
reCaptcha is disabled but displays warning "Invalid captcha value."

  Postal Code doesn't display value on Richtext element

Precondition: Install Forms.Samples

Steps to reproduce
1. Add a multi-step Form:

  • FormStep1
  • Address
  • FormStep2
  • RichText(insert place holder = Address)
  • Submit

2. Add the form to a page then publish all.
3. View the form in View mode.
4. Enter data on the address.
5. Go to the next step.

Expected:
All Address fields show their value.

Actual:
Postal Code doesn't display its value

  Page View mode: Date time/Date time range element displays wrong value after inputting value

Steps to reproduce:

1.Create a form container including 2 steps. Step 1 includes a DateTime/Date time range form element.
2.Go to page view mode containing the form container.
3.Input a value for the date/time element.
4.Click the Next step button.
5.Click the Previous step button.

Expected:
The inputted value of date time element displays correctly

Actual:
The inputted value of date time element displays incorrectly

  After posting to external system, date/time range format changed

Precondition:
Connect Form to an External System: Campaign or MAI

Steps to reproduce

1. Create a form with a Date/Time Range field mapping to a text field.
2. Add the form to a page then publish all.
3. Enter email & date/time range field then submit.
4. Resubmit again.

Expected:
Can submit successfully.

Actual: Cannot submit. Get Message "Enter a valid date time range." due to format of Date/time range changed to 2018-01-01 00:04:00 | 2018-01-18 14:00:00

Datetime saved from DateTime/DatetimeRange element is not in ISO format.

  [Sample] NonJS:Date range changes to YYYY-MM-DD format

Case1:
Precondition: A form1 (contains Date range, Date time range elements, and a Captcha element) is added to page1.
1. Open page1 in view mode in a NonJS browser.
2. Enter valid data into the Date range/Date Time range elements.
3. Submit the form without entering Captcha.

Expected: Entered data is shown in MM/DD/YYYY format in Date range/Date Time range, validation message appears.
Actual: Entered data is shown in YYYY-MM-DD format.

Case2:
Precondition: A form1 (step1, Date range, Date time range elements, step2, richtext with #Date range#, #Date time range# placeholders) is added to page1
1. Open page1 in view mode in a NonJS browser.
2. Enter valid data to Date range/Date Time range elements.
3. Click Next.
Expected: Entered data is shown in MM/DD/YYYY format in Date range/Date Time range place holders
Actual: Entered data is shown in YYYY-MM-DD format

  NonJS: DateTime saved although invalid format

Steps to reproduce

1. A form with a DateTime (time picker) element and a Submit button is created and added to Page1.
2. Open Page1 in ViewMode in NonJS mode.
3. Enter the date in the format 07/03/2017.
4. Submit the form.

Expected: Validation msg is shown. User is not allowed to save.
Actual: You can submit successfully. Data of 00:00:00 is saved on Submission Form View.

    • the same as DateTime Range
