Mirror just one page - ignore children

Hi,
Is it possible to just Mirror just one page in EPiServer, and ignore the children. For example, mirror the homepage, and that's it?
I guess I can chose my desired start page, and then create an IInitializableModule to cancel the children, but was hoping there was a much easier way?
I would like to be able to chose to Mirror the children or not each time?
