Change text for editors in edit mode

Vote:

Hello!

We want to change a text in edit mode. But we can´t find where the text is located. Maybe in a resource file?

The text we want to change is the text for "Go to Edit View" located in the upper right corner of the web page when logged in.

Our site uses swedish as language and the text is "Gå till Redigera läge", but it should be "Gå till redigeraläge".

Where can we change this? Do we have to override som resource file with xml?

Hi!

Yes that is located in a resource file.

In order to override it you would need to add an xml file where you override the key "/dope/gotoeditview".

Thank you! That worked.

If there are more texts we want to adjust, where can we find the keys we need to override in xml?

Starting in CMS 7, we embedd the localization resources in the dll:s. So you would need to use your favorite assebly spy program, like Reflector or ILSpy, and inspect the resources there. In this case it would be EPiServer.UI.dll. If you check under resources you can find the built in translations.
