Is the cms search effected by the contentindexer conventions

Hi,

I'm adding some contentindexer conventions to add / exclude pages from being indexed. Are these conventions also applied to the cms search?

Ah, ok...yes that's default switched to use Find I think and will be affected by indexing conventions.

So if you removed images etc from index to save some items that will also affect edit mode when searching for images.

It's also possible to switch back to using Episerver standard search in edit mode of course. In that case the indexing conventions won't affect search results in edit mode.
