XHTML validation of pages

Trying to get the EPi templates to validate according to XHTML transitional. Works fine for all pages, but search and sitemap. Will these controles be rebuilt to validate?

Search page can be fixed by editing the search help text in templatesLanguages.xml files
In the site map the site map controle does not generate an alt text to img tags

Hi Ina,
Have you upgraded an v.4 site? The reason I'm asking is that the sitemap webcontrol is obsoleted in v.5. In the template package we use the standard PageTree control for the sitemap page.
