Hi,
A small question: I recently did a test upgrade from CMS 5 to 6.
One thing I'm missing is the search box underneath the content tree... The "new" search won't let me search pages by id - a feature we use a lot.
Did I mess something up or is it removed? If so, is there a (simple) way of adding id as a searchable field?

PS. this info might be somewhere on this site but search terms are not especially result friendly ;) DS.

I get internal server error when searching for a number, feels like a timeout somewhere... Titles and content works fine.

Hmm... Searching for an id with more than three digits seems to work.

Three letters: ok. Numbers less than 1000: not ok.

Hi

As Anders said, searching on id is still possible with the new search.

One of the design decisions when creating it was that it should still be very easy to find a page if you know its id. So if your search string matches the id of a page, that result should be the first in the list of results. Unless you've added a custom search provider with an even higher priority.
