Microsoft Office Integration Support for Office 2010 64 bit

Hello,
The system requirements page for EPiServer CMS 6 states that only the 32 bit version of Office 2010 is supported for Microsoft Office Integration. I understand that 64 bit is not officially supported, but is it possible to install the EPiServer Office Integration components if you have Office 2010 64 bit and will it work at all? Also, does anyone know when will the 64 bit version be supported?
