Syncing staging with live
When it comes to the page types I would take a look at the PageTypeBuilder project. But export/import should work fine as well, what kinds of problems are you having with adding new properties? Their values?

Hi,
On one of our sites we currently have a staging and liver environment setup on the same server. The staging environment is where we push our changes to for client approval. The issue we are having is when it comes to moving these changes to live. Copying the files is fine, as is using the export feature in EPiServer to copy of the template types. The problem we have is with any changes to existing templates. If we add new properties, the content on the live site obviously doesn't have these properties setup, so we are currently having to employ a manual process to re-set them up. Can someone explain what is the best way to syncronise the systems? Should we be mirroring the live site to the staging site? Or using a database murging tool? Any help and examples would be really appreciated.
