Is anyone else have problems with Postbacks

Vote:

I have a template that is creating a list of linkbutton controls representing years (based on News Article dates). These are, obviously, created dynamically. In order to get around the post-back delay, I'm setting the text value in an control using Javascript. When I run the page, I can see the label change when the linkbutton is clicked, but when the page posts back, the label's value reverts back to it's default of 0 (zero). I've noticed that the page comes back with Post.aspx as well (what's that all about!?). Has anyone else run up against this and if so, how the heck did you fix it. It's driving me knutz (granted, this is a short drive...)! I'd appreciate any suggestions at this point. Jordan
