Have 3 cases where this would be useful for the editor
Case 1: (works fine)When creating a new article and select the option “Scheduling for Publish” this is visually shown in the page tree with an additional icon to the right. (using class epi-statusIndicator6)
Would it possible to also get a visual indication with an icon (like Case 1) for the following 2 cases:
Case 2: (request for change)When modifying an existing article and select the option “Scheduling for Publish” this is not visually shown in the page tree. Would it be possible to add icon with description as in Case 1.
Case 3: (request for change)When setting an article manually to be published in future (changing the Publish property under Settings) this is not visually shown in the page tree. Would it be possible to give a better indication of this in page tree by adding an icon with description?
Agree with you, and the same goes for blocks.
Although you can see that a block is scheduled for publish in the blocks pane, you won't get as much as a hint if that block is used in a content area.
Same goes for expired content, which is missing an indication both for blocks and pages.
In my book this is core functionality in a CMS, so it's a bit surprising to find it's not there.
Many of our customers work heavily with scheduled publishing, but they get very little visual support for this.
