Cases with POS connected to Episerver commerce?

Vote:

We have a potential client that want to explore the possibilities to use Episerver Commerce together with a POS (Point of Sale) solution.
I understand that basically any POS can talk to Episerver Commerce using APIs. But the client wants to see cases where this have been done.
If there is a POS already with connectors to Episerver that would of course be very interesting for the client when evaluating POS.

I'd appreciate any input or pointers.

Thanks

I'd recommend contacting your sales rep at Episerver, they should be able to find or create some case studies to show off this. There's a few I found on the Epi site that mention POS https://www.episerver.com/solutions/our-customers/by-industry/bolia.com/ and https://www.episerver.com/solutions/our-customers/featured-case-studies/the-new-brunswick-liquor-company/

Hi Erik!

Did you find some cases that were suitable for you? I'm in the middle of the same situation with a customer of mine, who is using episerver commerce, but is also using a third party product for the POS.

It would be nice to skip a step for the POS and move the functionality from there to Episerver.

/David

There is at least one case in Denmark. I know because I was the consultant who worked on the platform integration.

The case applied Ka-Ching (a mobile POS with a Cloud backend). It has an official Episerver Add-On, which was created by yours truly.
