EPiServer 7.5 Commerce - Catalog asset publish error

EPiServer Commerce 7.5

I tried to add a 16.7KB media file to a product variant via the CMS > Catalog UI. On publish, I receive the following error:
"String or binary data would be truncated. The statement has been terminated."

If I remove the media file and republish, publish works successfully.

Does this have to do with the number of custom meta-fields added to the Variation? There are 25 meta-fields as of the moment.

Hi,

Please clarify. Do you add the media file to the product variant as an asset (by asset tab)? The file would be managed by CMS and only its "permanent link" or GUID will be used when you store Commerce content, then it would be fine regardless of image's size.

Would you mind to post your meta fields here? I need the type and the configuration of the fields. The error you're seeing indicate that one or more metafield's data was exceed the size you defined for it.

Regards.

Hi, I get exactly the same error - All I try to do is to add an image into the assets block and I get the same error when I click Publish.

When I delete the image and try to publish it again I get this error:

Collection was modified; enumeration operation might not execute.

If I refresh the page it then allows me to publish the page.
