We have recently deployed a site using EPiserver Commerce 1 R2.
Some of the website users are experiencing an issue where basket is becoming shared between two users.
We have done in depth investigation of the code and it seems like that two anonymous user night get the same id for the basket and share the basket.
Have any of the other EPiserver customers reported this issue.
We are getting quite a few complaints on the live site so your speedy response is much appreciated.

Is the environment load-balanced? Could it be a problem with cache synchronizing?

The environment is not load balanced. Single web server and a speparate db server.
