I encountered this issue after upgrade EPiServer find to the latest version. Indexing is still working without any issue, but when click on Configuration and Manage tab, it keeps showing login dialog.
Below are error screenshots

Might be some custom configuration of access rights that disappeared after upgrade?
This issue is caused by enable the owin middleware for the authentication.
Has anyone had a fix for this?
I know Marija J on my company did a lot of work with owin and.NET providers.
Check that out first or give her a nudge :)
Thanks for the link.
I thought from EPi9, it has already supported OWIN out of the box. I took the OWIN startup class from Quicksilver, and CMS + CM both seemed working.
I am curious does EPi Find UI authentication work with Owin?
OWIN + EPi is still new so expect some minor issues like this. I know the plugin for GA has some issues with OWIN as well.
Vincent/code monkey: We're currently experiencing this when trying to add best bets, and we too are utilizing OWIN.Did you ever find a fix for this?
This issue is fixed and will be available from EPiServer.Find 12.4.2. A release is probably not far away.
Find 12.4.2 was released today - see http://world.episerver.com/documentation/Release-Notes/?versionFilter=12.4.2&packageFilter=EPiServer.Find&typeFilter=All
This issue is not resolved. I get the same error, on a empty project I set up today and added content delivery api, commerce and find.
Everything else is working, indexing is working fine just like OP described, but nothing else in Find is working, I just get the login-form all the time and it doesn't accept any site credentials.
Mats, Which content delivery api, commerce and find versions did you install?
Thanks for the quick reply :)
These are the versions used:Content delivery api (and api for commerce): 2.9.0
Ok, issue is resolved. I had a faulty index configured in commerce project and forgot to update the config there when I updated CMS config. Seems to be working now!
