Follow up question; is there a way to have a template for a pagetype when loaded outside the editor, but not when in the editor?
I would like a pagetype to display as per the template in the front end, but in the CMS the pagetype to appear to have no template so that only the form editor view is available.

Actually, I don't think this is possible right now. In the next version you should be able to set the default view for a page type (to for instance forms editing) but not to turn off the on page view entirely as long as there is at least one template.

I want to have a different pagetemplate for when in editmode.
i would suspect this could be done using Tags but I have been unable to find how I would do this.
Could anyone point me in the right direction?
