How do you configure EPiServer to use a particular sort order site wide
You can change the default value for new pages by changing the default value for this property on the page type. You will have to change all page types though, but it should not take too long to click through them.

Or u can add to the event FinishedLoadingChildren and make your own sorting based on a new dynamic property
If you have 1000+ pages you need to change, I quess that would be the way to go.
But is it a few then I quess Steve's methods is more clean :)

Hi,
Does anyone know how you configure EPiServer to default to a particular option in the Sort Order field that exists for pages?
In other words, if I always want it to default to 'Alphabetical', or 'According to Sort Index' how would I do that for an entire site:
