EpiServer 4.60 XForm FormControl = null

Tryig to modify the XForm in code but everytime I attempt to use the FormControl an exception occurs because it is null. For example if I attempt to modify controls by adding additional attributes and attempting to set the FormDefinition.

Tim, We just had this behaviour when the page using the form just inherited from System.Web.UI.Page. Inheriting from TemplatePage did the trick.

My page which uses the control already inherits from the TemplatePage.

Everything works frin until I try to access or use the FormControl - How is it initialised? I am using version: 4.60.0.165 could this be the problem?

The issue was caused by me trying to integrate one of the other examples and missing a typo (lowercase/UPPERCASE) which my IDE didn't complain about either. Lessons learnt over reliance on IDE.
