XHTML String, LongString & EPiFields

We normally use the XHTML string property type rather than the Long string type for the main body of pages. I'm looking to introduce the functionality offered by EPiFields into a solution we're developing but I've noticed that this requires the use of the EPiServer.Fields.LongString property type. Does anyone know the what actual difference is between the XHTML and LongString properties and how this may affect the level of HTML validation that can be achieved using EPiServer? I'm assuming in all of this that the EPiServer.Fields.LongString is based on the LongString type rather than the XHTML type. Thanks, Justin

Hi Justin, EPiServer.Fields.LongString inherits from the XHTML property so it should work for you.
