Scheduled synchronization of user settings from an ldap source

Just wanted to inform you all that I added a code sample that shows how to synchronize values from an ldap source as a scheduled job. This sample requires EPiServer 4.51 and is available on the following page:

I have tested this, but I thought the synchronization would go both ways (since it's called sync...).
Is it possible to set this up to make it synchronize both ways?
