Conflict in setting up proper Shipping Discount with Item Discount

Hello,

CMS 11, Commerce 13.

We are trying to setup Marketing Promotions

a) Shipping discount for a Category "Spend For Free Shipping" - Above $50

b) Item Discount for the same Category "Buy Product For Discount In Same Category" - At Discount of 50%

But the case is; shipping discount gets calculated incorrectly based on Product Base Price Instead of calculating on Discounted Price.

How can we assure that Shipping Discount is applied on correct amount ?

Your shipping discount promotion is getting executed before the item discount does.

Goto Discount Priorities and Exclusions in the Marketing tab and ensure your item discount is of higher priority than the shipping discount.

Can you post some additional information such as screenshots of the discount priorities and also the discount themselves? I'm assuming you've not written any custom promotions and are using out of the box functionality.
