How to get demo licence for azure demo site?

Vote:

Hi

I want to request a demo licence for a demo site hosted on azure. I am using this site to request a licence file:
https://license.episerver.com/public/GenerateDemoLicense.aspx

I use the IP address specified in the azure web app properties page.

But it is not working. The licence error popup is still visible with error "40.69.200.124 is not a valid ip-address".

As I understand the azure web app does not have one ip adress but it is using a list of possible IP addresses.

How can I request a licence for an azure demo site with a list of possible IP addresses?

Wojciech,

Have you tried emailing licenseadmin@episerver.com?

We are working with an exiting custommer.

I have a feeling that the licence page was last updated in 1995. Why does it have only episerver 7 listed? It is a bit misleading.

yes. The page at https://license.episerver.com/ is the page i was talking about. Is there any other episerver page that can generate a demo licence?

Can you copy & patse the text that mentions Episerver 7?  I looked for it but can't find it.

As far as I know, that's the only page for working with licenses.

Hi Wojciech,

Just commenting about the product selector just having Episerver 7 - that is the licensing model "version". The actual license file will have a version restrction that basically allows you to use any Episerver version like this: VersionRestriction From="7.0" To="16.0"

The same Episerver 7 is also listed as the product when logged in as a partner and generating developer licenses BUT then there is the additional field where you can select the type of the license: EPiServer 7 Partner Developer License OR [CLOUDDEV] EPiServer 7 Cloud Developer License.

But to get the demo license for Azure App Service - I guess the only option is to keep mailing the already mentioned license email address - unless Bob could internally ping someone about this.

Hi Antti,

I contacted someone in Epi license administration, who emailed Wojciech about this issue.
