Command Line AddON

Hi

I am using Add On for every Block (Module), this idea is so powerfull that is similar to Prism in MPF, or Webparts in Sharepoint, the idea to create modules is so clever

My point is that i want to use TFS to Build and publish the packages in a Nuget Server, also the Shell is using  episerver.packaging to install this packages using the Addon feature. it is workig for me now

The problem is that some case it is so slow because i have many server in NLB and I need to Install it One server by Server

My idea is create a Command Line

http://world.episerver.com/Documentation/Items/Developers-Guide/EPiServer-CMS/75/Modules/Add-on-system-command-line-support/

to Accelerate the process,

it have some sence?

Is it a acceptable aproach?

Which is the best way to deploy and install packages(Add-On Modules)?

Hi Roy!

We are currently working on getting Visual Studio support to install add-ons just a any other NUGET package. The plan to release this within this year. I assume that this should solve your issues?
