i would also like that, it would make blokcs in tinyMCE a lot more usefull

We now use Luc Glossos solution but with an addition to allow only certains block types.

We are currently upgrading to EPiServer and of course timymce 2.6.1.
We have a lot of dynamic content i our Xhtml text, they appear as span in edit mode of tinymce and only a string of two or three caracters in view mode.
After migrating to blocks, there is a major problem, in edit mode of tinyMCE all the block shows within div tags.
TinyMCe creates then
tags around this div which is right since you can't have div in p tags to be compliant.
But the problem is obviously that the xhtml is now wrong with all those p tags around.
This was solved with the property "RenderAsBlockElement" set to false in dynamic content.
How can I make a block in edit mode in tinyMCE displays with span tags instead of div.
