BVN.404 redirect handler

IS anybody out there using the bvn.404 redirect handler for a large number of redirects, 1000+, and are they experiencing any performance issues. We have a lrage group of redirects to add and are currently looking for a suitable solution that won't impact performance of the site.

We're using the bvn.404 on a solution with almost 900 redirects, and for a short period almost 2000 redirects. We haven't noticed any performance issues, but we haven't done any load testing targeting that scenario.

It should be pretty easy to test though, just create an import file with a large amount of redirects, and start testing :-)
