Unable to Create New Pages on Episerver Azure
If you want to get pages from local instance to an Azure hosted application on the first deploy you need to restore a bacpac file of your local database. If you have file blobs you need to migrate those to the correct Azure storage as well.
You probably also need to adjust the URLs and startpages in the Manage websites list in Admin mode and set up Access Rights for the content tree in Admin mode.

Not able to create new pages in Episerver running on Azure. while the same appears possible in the local context, it throws the attached screen in the remote context of Azure. Is this something you guys have come across in the recent times Episerver CMS Core 9.7.3 http://imgur.com/a/vQF80 Also is it always the case that we should create the start page in azure by running it against a local instance ? Shouldn't i run local instance only to create a user and later perform other actions by logging in directly to azure
