Block to provide dropdown list

Hi,

I would like to create a block that will provide the end user a dropdown list but with the items in the list managed within the block by the editor - in a similar way that the selection form element works in EPiServer Forms.

Can anyone provide any pointers on how I may examine / extend / customise the selection form element to see how this can be done?

PropertyList<T> may be usefu for this purpose?

Ok, I need to do the same kind of thing but with an earlier version of EPiServer (7.19) which does not have PropertyList<T>. Has anyone done anything like this and is able to offer any pointers?
