"MultiProperty" - Lists of custom properties

Vote:

Hi

When I  last used Episerver, it was Episerver  6,  we used the ElencySolutions.MultipleProperty component for supporting lists of custom properties.

My question is, what does one do when using the latest Episerver 9?

I am seeing discussions around PropertyList. Which looks like it will do similar. However, this still looks like it is  in "beta".

So what is the suggested approach.

  • Is there a better ElencySolutions.MultipleProperty?  Last update to nuget was 2012, which seems very old.
  • Use PropertyList, and hope I do not have any support issues?
  • Use another approach?

Thanks in advance.

I suggest using the ContentReferenceList while you wait. Since you can model any entity with a content type and you can point out multiple of those easily as editor that works well including drag n drop.

I use that one for that purpose and before I used Linkitemcollection. You can solve most use cases by that.
