Modify the report for link validation (linkstatus)

Vote:

Hi, would it be possible at all for me to change the Episerver 6 linkstatus report?

If yes,

My customer wants to add a filter to only show published pages in the report.

As of now the report also adds non published pages which is not relevant for them.

best regards

Mats

Hello Mats

It is easy to create your own (potentially extending an existing report). I'd suggest reading this thread: http://world.episerver.com/Modules/Forum/Pages/Thread.aspx?id=47242&epslanguage=en. It contains lots of useful information about creating your own reports, including code locations of the existing reports.

One thing to bear in mind is that from memory the process of link validation is actually done by a scheduled job so you may want to look at the functionality of that job.
