CMS 4.62b on Server 2012 R2 doable?

Hi!

A customer wants to put their 4.62b site on a 2012 R2 server, is it possible?

I have installed .net 1.1 and EPiServer manager, but it seems that it does not detect IIS, and it throws unhandle exceptions when I select Install from the tools menu.

Any hints are much appreciated.

Hello Kal

The system requirements for 4.62 can be found here: http://world.episerver.com/documentation/Items/System-Requirements/EPiServer-CMS/System-Requirements---EPiServer-CMS-462/

As Server 2012 obviously didn't exist at the time it's not officially supported. As an unsupported operating system EPiServer could not offer any official support.

So it may be technically possible, but you would probably not be supported.
