Use a newer TinyMCE editor with html 5 support

Is it possible to use a another TinyMCE editor in epi 7,5?

TinyMCE has a newer and much better editor (version 4) ... I really would like to use that one instead. HTML 5 support etc...

http://www.tinymce.com/tryit/basic.php

Anyone has done this or seen a blog post about it?

Or is Epi 8 coming soon with this new editor? :-)

EPi should be able to upgrade to TinyMCE 4 at anytime I would think. No need to wait for or make it part of a major version.

Since TinyMCE 4 is a major version and have breaking changes, I would imagine that EPiServer needs to bump a major version as well. As long as they wanna stay true to the semantic versioning. I would bet that the plugin model have breaking changes in TinyMCE 4.

Ok well...sounds realistic

But if I want to build a custom property that uses this tinymce 4.... that would be totally up to me to set it up but maybe not exactly a next next finish process :-)
