Redirects in Episerver 7.5
The Simple URL is just a shortcut. So yes it would give the same page two urls.
Using a redirect module would work. The BVN one works well.
Third option would be to create your own URL Rewriter and do the redirects yourself for pages that have a simple URL

Hi,
The simple URL property in Episerver 7.5 does not make a redirect but instead creates a new page with the exact same content as the original. This confuses both google and our internal search engine, and I was wondering if theres any way of forcing a redirect to the original page when a simple url is active. We would like to avoid the use of Canonical links as much as possible. Can this perhaps be added in the BVN 404 Custom redirect gadget? Can we create a new page with a simple URL, and have it use the Shortcut to page in Episerver CMS-property? Is that the equivalent of a redirect, or does it create a separate page as well?
Any solution is greatly apprechiated. Thanks!
