Media modification time

Hi,

If I upload file using CMS Edit mode, file copied to "appdata\blobs" folder. In CMS in "Settings" tab I can see file published/created/modified time.

But if I edit file(for example in Paint), modified time not updated.

Maybe EpiServer can automatically monitor modified time? Or how I can programatically update media modified time?

If you reupoad a changed image it should update the modified date. But it's not the image modified date but the time the image got switched in the EPiServer filemanger.

Also you have the checkbox on the Settings tab for updating the media chnaged date.

Yes, but I need to update the modified time, if the file is modified not from EpiServer.

I need to programmatically update the file's modification date(I would have written a job that every day would be checking the file modified date, and update it in CMS.).
