How to migrate EPiServer 4 site to EPiServer 6 site

I want to migrate my one site built using EPiserver 4.62 into EPiServer 6 site. Please guide me what all steps are required to be done.

You need to upgrade your site to CMS 5 first. Then upgrade to 6. (Upgrade from 4 to 5 is the important and potentially difficult part) You can start by reading this tech note:

As mentioned, you need to first upgrade from 4.62 to CMS 5 R2 SP2. When this is done, the next step is to upgrade to CMS 6. This blog post describes how this is done using the EPiServer Deployment Center.
