Description

Up to CMS 6, a URL rewrite provider system was used to rewrite incoming and outgoing links for Web forms. This system is being phased out, and extensibility using this system is not supported. This URL rewrite system was replaced with ASP.NET Routing in CMS 7.

The class FriendlyUrlRewriteProvider will be obsoleted to signal this change to extending classes.
