Search Catalog Entry in Commerce Manager's Promotion does not allow non ASCII characters.


Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to Commerce Manager -> Marketing -> Promotions -> New Promotion.
  2. Select Promotion Type = "Catalog Entry: Buy X Get a Discount".
  3. Click on "Please select catalog entries" link.
  4. Input non-ASCII characters to "Search By Keyword(s)" field (such as german letter üß).
  5. Click on Search button.


Expected: Catalog entries with non-ASCII characters can be search.

Actual: "Please use numbers or letters." message is displayed.



This behavior make it difficult to search for entries in languages other than English
