Connect for SharePoint
Episerver Connect for SharePoint provides a transparent connection between Episerver and Microsoft SharePoint. The connector copies documents, blocks, or other items from SharePoint document libraries and lists automatically. Updates occur on a scheduled or manual basis and are available to the CMS as media or blocks. Additionally, developers can use an item processor capability to manipulate documents or blocks as they are being transferred, giving developers the flexibility to customize applications to specific requirements in the CMS.
Supported platform versions
- See Add-ons platform compatibility for information about supported platform versions.
- SharePoint, versions 2013 and 2016
- SharePoint Online
Installing the SharePoint Nuget package
In Visual Studio, install the Episerver Connect for Sharepoint NuGet package for your solution.
Note: When you install the SharePoint NuGet package, a third-party dependency adds the following entry in web.config, but because the entry is already in web.config, it causes a duplicate name error. You can fix the duplicate name error by changing the name of ExtensionlessUrlHandler-Integrated-4.0 to something else.
<add name="ExtensionlessUrlHandler-Integrated-4.0" path="." verb="" type="System.Web.Handlers.TransferRequestHandler" preCondition="integratedMode,runtimeVersionv4.0" />
Lower versions are available as zip files for download at Episerver SharePoint Connector 7.
