Membership DB migration

afternon,

I have an existing aspnet membership db that contains users from a community I'm porting to Relate Plus.

I'd like to use the exisitng aspnet menbership db within Relate Plus?

I've found that creating new users populates just the tblEPiServerCommonUser table.

Is there away to utilise the existing username/passwords?

Hi Efe,

You can probably use the EPiServerCommonIntegrationMembershipProvider (if you are using the Relate+ templates you'll find it in web.config) which enables you to use another membershipprovider but saves user data to the community frameworks own system as well. I would however recommend you to migrate the users if possible as you will then be able to use the built in user management interface.
