Sections in EPiServer Mail

How are these used exactly? I can't seem to figure it out. I can a bunch of users and/or groups to them but then what? Shouldn't I somehow be able to limit which RecipientContainers a certain section can see, or have I misunderstood completely?

Hi Kristian,
You're quite right, sections can be used like you describe. Just make sure that the containers themselves are associated with the right section (ie if you use the bundled standard recipient source; when uploading a list, make sure that the desired section is selected).
Try it out with a couple of users with different section rights and see if it works.
