Steps to reproduce
The Commerce "Catalogs" widget is based on the HierarchicalList which does not do on demand loading properly in the list (bottom part of the widget).
Expected: After loading the visible items in the list, no more items will be loaded until scrolled into view.
Actual: When the first page is loaded, it keeps loading page after page until all items are loaded even though they are not in view yet.
