I’ve got an issue where a partner gets “Secure content popup” when using address form element which is from the episerver.forms.samples pack.
- FormsAddressElement lookup control making a call to http://maps.google.com/maps/api/js?v=3.1&sensor=false
- site is https
so this causes an issue when they use Internet explorer, because of http and https being mixed on the page.
they could change <applicationSettings googleMapsApiV3Url="string" ....... and the issue would disappear. And yes the error removed the IE issue but instead the call to google maps api seems to be failing, so they can’t submit or progress to the next step in the form.
The issue can be seen here:
from partner: “However, I have created a test page with a test form for you to see the error using Chrome or Firefox,
When trying to submit the form, there is a call response coming back as ‘false’, preventing the form from submitting.
