Disabling languages for subdomains

Hi Guys,
Currently im developing the US branch for the site im working on, ive set up the default language for the us site so it will use the us language however if i go to us.mysite.com/en it will use the uk settings, is there anyway to disable this so they can only view the us content on the us site?
