Epi Backend Configuration

Vote:

Hi,

We have a Ecommerce website developed on Epi (latest version) and we would like to push to solution to staging on Azure as web app. Is there any way we could host the backend of the solution ( CMS backend, Commerce Manager ) on a single app, or does it always need to be running an a separate app?

Thanks

Hi Laszio,

For now, it has to be separate. I think the ultimate goal for Episerver Commerce is to integrate everything into one app and do away with the need for a separate app running Commerce Manager. Not sure how far out that is, though. It could be a while before that happens unfortunately. Hope this helps!

Commerce Manager has to be a separate site till this stage, but will you really require Commerce Manager? (We have done few implementation where we have no dependency on Commerce Manager)
