Setting a default value on PluginSettings in scheduled jobs

Hi Epi World,

The PlugInProperty does not seem to contain an attribute for a default value on eg. a textfield, when managing settings for scheduled jobs.

It's very useful to have these default values on properties on page types and blocks. Isn't it supported to do something similar for these settings?

Can you please describe a bit more concrete what you meant for "default value for textfield"? Which text field you are referring to?

If you set custom fields in the plugin manager to be used along with your scheduled jobs, you can have checkboxes or textfields. Let's say I want a checkbox checked as default or some text inserted in a text field as default.

On CMS pages, you can have a label prefilled by inserting the attribute "DefaultValue".

So my question is... Does something similar exist for scheduled jobs?

Ok, next question - how exactly you are adding custom fields to be used along side with your scheduled job? Are you referring to "Admin > Config > Tools Settings > Plug-in Manager"? Or you add you custom fields via code (PlugInPropertyAttribute)?
