Migration Tool 1.1 Available for Download

The first official release of the EPiServer CMS Migration Tool is now available for download on EPiServer World. EPiServer CMS Migration Tool 1.1 is used to update EPiServer CMS 4.62 sites to EPiServer CMS R2.

The Migration Tool has been updated since its RC1 release with the following improvements:

• Targets EPiServer CMS 5 R2.
• Support for Oracle migration.
• Improved performance for content migration.
• Supports migration of users from EPiServer 4 database. Note that passwords cannot be migrated.
• Supports migration of personalized information into ASP.NET personalization provider.
