This story provides support for XLSX export.
The View Submissions panel's export dialogue provides a new out-of-the-box option: export data to XLSX file.

This file should

open normally in Excel
be readable, with good formatting
display data correctly (especially text, number)
Customer does not have to convert CSV to XLSX
