Auto save is not triggered when DnD asset to the publish item

Steps to reproduce

Triage: it seems more info has been added from qa to verify this bug.

Steps to reproduce

1. Select the catalog item that have only publish version
2. Switch to all properties mode then go to asset tab
3. Drag image and drop to "You can drop media here" area at the button in asset tab of the catalog item then click out site to trigger auto save ==> Observer: auto save is not triggered
4. Switch to One page edit mode then switch to All properties mode again

Expected: Auto save is triggered when DnD asset to catalog item

Actual: Auto save is not triggered, image is not added  to asset tab of catalog item

NOTE: - No such problem in Edit variant/ edit relation entries

          - No such problem when Drop to top or middle in assets list

          - Incase DnD asset to unpublished item, only the first image will be added to asset tab of catalog item.
