You need to attend Episerver Ascend USA 2018

Preparation is in full swing for Episerver Ascend USA 2018 on March 11-14 at the Aria Resort in Las Vegas. In 2017, we had an amazing conference with over 800 attendees and great sessions. So far, the 2018 program looks to be the largest yet, with over 70 sessions throughout 6 concurrent persona-based tracks, hands-on labs catered to your experience level, and keynote speakers you do not want to miss!

Keynote Speaker

For the technical crowd, one of the most exciting parts of Ascend will be our keynote speaker, Troy Hunt. Troy is a Microsoft Regional Director, Microsoft MVP, and author at Pluralsight who is known for his work around data security. If you’d like to learn more about Troy and his work, I suggest that you check out James Stout’s recent blog post “Get Schooled by Troy Hunt at Episerver #Ascend2018”.

Agenda

The agenda for Ascend USA 2018 continues to expand and is categorized into 6 concurrent session tracks. There are two dedicated tracks for the tech leader and developer, both tracks consisting of presentations and hands-on labs. These sessions will allow you to learn more about Episerver features and dive deeper into the Episerver platform.

If you find that your role lies both in technical and non-technical, you can mix and match your sessions, or focus on your topic of choice. Better yet, bring your colleagues to divide and conquer the sessions.

The agendas are still being developed, so check back often to see what labs and sessions are scheduled.

Code Bash

Last year, we introduced Code Bash, sponsored by Microsoft, to the Ascend agenda. During Code Bash, you can work with a small team, racing to solve a challenge in the most creative and interesting way using the Episerver platform. When the race time is over, each team will present their solution to the audience and judges, who will vote for their favorite to determine the winner.

For Ascend USA 2018, Code Bash will be scheduled during the Monday Night Mixer, and teams will be given more time to complete their task. More details on Code Bash, as well as a link to register your team, will be provided in a future post.
