Experience is just another word for not having to think

The future is, more often than not, just a prolongation of the past. Knowing your history, acting and reacting as usual is normally a good recipe for success and experience, of course, is a valuable asset. Sometimes though, there are changes so radical that it is actually a hindrance. We are in the middle of such a change right now.

Troed Troedson, one of Sweden's best renown future analysts and speakers, will tell us about how the value of knowledge and information is rapidly decreasing and what consequences that has on business. He will also tell us about what competences, abilities and strategies to apply in order to be successful from now on and in some aspects we're in for a bit of a surprise. A few of the rather dramatic consequences are that communication skills are more important than knowledge, that short term iterations will replace long term planning and that subjective opinions will be more valuable than functionality.
