How to install EPiServer Search on 7.5
Hi,
1- Run deployment center
2- Version 7.5.394.2 -> Modules select "Install EPiServer Search"
3- Select your site (Check "Show all sites" if your site doesn't show up ).
4- Select the folder where "Search Index" will be stored.
5- Finish

Strange, got the same error earlier today when a nuget upgrade went wrong.
Try to install search from nuget packet and the create a new site from the EPiServer visual studio plugin and copy the web service from it.

I tried installing a new site and I get the same error after the same procedure. And the NuGet (install-package episerver.search) doesn't work. "Unable to find package...".
What does the installer do? Add dll and some web.config lines?

I'm still struggling with this and I'm about to reach the point to where I can't do anything else but solve it. Anyone has any more suggestions on what to do or is this a bug that I need to report?

I successfully installed Episerver Search the other day using the instructions here. It was done through Nuget (not deployment center) and it was surprisingly easy. It will add a dll, an svc to your project and some changes in web.config. The only manual thing I needed to do was to update baseUri in web.config to reflect my local url. That's all. Hope this helps.

I got to a point where I tried using a EPiServer SearchDataSource for the first time in 7.5 and I get an error message saying I need to install EPiServer Sarch. I suppose I do this from the Deployment Center but when I try to install the module my site doesn't show up in the list of available sites to install to.
What are the steps in this procedure? I can't seem to find any info on it.
